Computer Forensics is the art and science of discovering deleted, hidden or lost data on a computer. Examining a computer to discover exactly what data is stored on it is a time consuming and painstaking process. Despite attempts by the users of the computer to hide files, delete information, erase tracks and remove email, our computer expert can recover a tremendous amount of information. We have been successful at recovering on-line chats, images, and vast amounts of other information.

Our investigation begins by obtaining access to the computer that needs to be analyzed. It is mandatory that you have legal authority to access the files on the computer under investigation ~ you can be owner, co-owner, or you may have permission from the owner to examine the contents. The next step is to record an image of the computer contents. This process can take from 1-4 hours depending on the age and capacity of the computer. Once the image is recorded we no longer need access and the computer is returned. Our investigators do not work on the original files and the contents of the computer are not altered in any way by the examination process. The final step is to provide you with a detailed, easy to understand written report.

We take the necessary steps to obtain all information legally and preserve and analyze the data properly. In cases that go to litigation, our computer experts will account for the continuity of the data and the integrity of the evidence from the point of acquisition to its appearance in court.
